The 4th International Conference on Software Business (ICSOB 2013) will be held at the University of Potsdam. Its Campus Griebnitzsee, where the conference events will take place, is conveniently located near Berlin, the capital of Germany, and can easily be reached by public transport. In fact, the campus is directly located at the train station Griebnitzsee, where the S-Bahn line S7 runs at 10-minute intervals between Potsdam and Berlin, stopping, for instance, at Potsdam main station and Babelsberg and at Berlin main station, Charlottenburg, Zoologischer Garten, Friedrichstraße and Alexanderplatz. You may also search for "Institut für Informatik, Potsdam" and Google Maps will show the location of the Institut für Informatik building (Haus 4), which is just to the right (east) of the building housing the conference activities.
Accommodation
The following suggested hotels are very near the S Bhf (train Line),http://www.s-bahn-berlin.de/en, that connects the city of Berlin to the city of Potsdam and stops at Griebnitzsee (directly at the campus where ICSOB takes place).
The first three hotels are around the S+U Zoologischer Garten Bhf (Berlin) train station. This location is in the heart of Berlin with a huge array of shops and restaurants nearby, excellent for sightseeing in Berlin. Travel time from there to the conference is around 25-30 minutes with the S7 line.
The fourth hotel is in the city of Potsdam and is 5 minutes walk from the Potsdam central train station (Potsdam Hbf). This location is at the edge of Potsdam city center. Travel time from there to the University of Potsdam is around 20 minutes: (a short walk and 10 minutes S-Bahn, again the S7 to Griebnitzsee).
