ICSOB-13: Doctoral Symposium

This year the International Conference on Software Business (ICSOB) will host a doctoral symposium as a scientific and networking event specifically for young academics. Master and PhD students are invited to participate and present their research ideas and projects, discuss them with the scientific community, and establish collaborations in their field of research.

In accordance with the theme of the main conference (“From Physical Products to Software Services and Solutions”), the doctoral symposium addresses young researchers who are concerned with software business in every possible way. For more details concerning this theme please refer to http://www.icsob.org.

The doctoral symposium will be held as a separate track during the ICSOB main conference, divided into 3-4 thematically structured sessions.

Two ways to participate:

1. Regular presentation: Present your research project by a 10-minute presentation, followed by 20 minutes of discussion and feedback by fellow researchers.

2. Poster presentation: Present you research project as a poster.

Submission

The submission for contributions that are also published in the main conference proceedings has been closed on March 31st.

However, you can still participate in the doctoral symposium and present a talk or poster as described above. Apart from registering (see the ICSOB registration page) for the event, this requires to submit a research abstract (max. 2 pages including references, LNBIP style) describing your research project via e-mail to symposium@icsob.org by June 5th.
